PNB Signs MoU with MSC India Consulting to Strengthen Last-Mile Credit Access
Partnership to strengthen SHG–Bank linkage under NRLM–SRLM framework and promote inclusive finance across grassroots India
Punjab National Bank (PNB) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MSC India Consulting Pvt. Ltd. to enhance last-mile credit access and advance inclusive finance initiatives across the country.
The partnership aims to expand credit support for women micro-entrepreneurs and strengthen the Self-Help Group (SHG)–Bank linkage programme under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) framework.
Commenting on the development, Shri Shyam Sunder Singh, General Manager (AGRI), PNB, said, “This initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening last-mile credit delivery, empowering women-led enterprises, and fostering sustainable livelihoods in India’s grassroots and semi-urban regions.”
