RINL Elevates Standards: Attains CARES (UK) Certification For Superior Quality Concrete Reinforcement Bars In 16mm To 36mm Range

RINL has displayed its continued commitment to Quality and process capability by obtaining CARES (UK) Certification for Concrete Reinforcement Bars i.e. Re-bars 16mm to 36 mm. LMMM (Light and Medium Merchant Mill) Department of RINL achieved International recognition by obtaining Cares Certification for export of Re-bars. Cares, an internationally acclaimed Certification Authority for Reinforcing steels, has certified RINL with certifications BS4449:2005, CS2:2012 and SS560:2016 for export of LMMM Re-bar of sizes 16mm to 36mm.

At a program held at RINL’s main administration building, Shri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL said that “RINL is very happy on receiving the prestigious certificate from CARES, UK for Reinforcing bars (Re-bars) which RINL produces”.

This certification has come into effect from 29th January, 2024 and is valid for a period of one year. The certification was issued after conducting thorough Audits in 2 stages both Online and Offline with respect to stringent checklist confirming Quality, Product parameters, process and Procedures. Marketing, QATD, RS&RS, CTQM, IT&ERP, Instrumentation and PPM were involved and supported LMMM in the audit process for obtaining the certification.

With this certificate now RINL will be listed as Quality assured manufacturer for products i.e.16 mm to 36 mm Re-bars and will be on the international map of ‘CARES’ standards confirming quality steel producers. This will open the market for RINL to European Union, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Singapore and other South and East Asian countries.
