IIM professors Prashant Mishra, Biswatosh Saha and Partha Priya Dutta were also present.
Designed for high-impact leaders, this batch features 27 senior executives spanning various Central Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs), bringing together rich perspectives from varied sectors and business domains.
In his address, Atul Sobti underscored the indispensable role of leadership in catalyzing excellence, innovation, and transformation within CPSUs. He emphasized that leadership in the public sector necessitates leaders to balance business performance with public purpose, operational efficiency with stakeholder expectations, and organizational priorities with larger national objectives.
Sanjai Kumar, an alumnus of AGLP, shared his experience of the program and reflected on how the learning, peer interactions and global exposure had enriched his leadership perspective. He highlighted the program’s value in broadening strategic thinking and providing a wider understanding of global business practices.
AGLP 2.0 is designed as an immersive three-week leadership journey, comprising intensive workshops at IIM Calcutta and SCOPE, New Delhi, followed by an International Industry Study Tour. The program reflects SCOPE’s continued endeavour to strengthen the leadership pipeline of CPSUs and develop leaders who are future-ready, globally oriented and aligned with the larger vision of India’s public sector transformation.
