Steel Executive Federation And Steel Executives Association Office Bearers Meet Steel Secretary Sandeep Pandrik

They explained the acute economic crisis Visakha Steel is currently facing due to shortage of raw material

Steel Executive Federation Chairman Narendra Kumar Banchore, Deputy General Secretary Narendra Singh, and Steel Executives Association (SEA) General Secretary KVD Prasad recently met with Steel Secretary Sandeep Pandrik and Joint Secretary & RINL Board Member Dr. Sanjay Roy at Udyoga Bhavan. The discussions focused on the severe economic crisis faced by Visakha Steel, particularly due to a shortage of raw materials.

The federation emphasized the urgent need for financial assistance to release coal currently held at the port and proposed a merger with the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) as a long-term solution to the crisis.

Steel Secretary Sandeep Pandrik assured them that efforts were being made to resolve the situation, although he noted that a decision on the proposed merger with SAIL would require intervention from high-level authorities, possibly influenced by state government leaders.

Joint Secretary Dr. Sanjay Roy echoed the sentiment, stating that they were striving to overcome the crisis and called for collective cooperation to address the challenges faced by Visakha Steel.
