2nd Phase Of Papaya Plantation Taken Up At RINL
Agro-forestry Department of the Steel PSU has planted another 1500 papaya saplings
As part of the papaya plantation drive, 2nd phase of 1500 papaya saplings plantation was taken up by the Agro forestry Department in the inter-space of existing fruit trees over a 4 acre of land in township areas on 16.06.2023.
In total so far, the Agro-forestry Department has completed the planting of 2500 papaya saplings as part of the papaya plantation drive at RINL.
Today’s 2nd phase of early fruit bearing Thai Papaya plantation was led by Shri Y Chandrashekhar GM (Town administration & Contracts) along with senior officers from Agro-Forestry Section of Town administration Department.
Shri Y Chandrashekhar, GM(TA&C) has appreciated the Agro-Forestry section for utilizing the vacant land for cultivation and preserving the greenery in Ukkunagaram township of Visakhapatnam steel plant.
