Finally, WAPCOS Updates Website with New CMD’s Name, But Photograph Still Missing
The absence of such basic information on the official platform raises serious questions about the PSU’s internal communication
In what can only be described as a comedy of errors, the official website of WAPCOS Limited— a PSU under the Ministry of Water Resources—has finally been updated to reflect the appointment of its new Chairperson and Managing Director, Smt. Shilpa Shinde (IAS).
However, much to the surprise of many, the website continues to display her name without a photograph or detailed profile, despite both being freely available in the public domain.
The delayed update comes a day after www.indianpsu.com published a report titled “What Ails WAPCOS? Official Website Still Silent on New CMD Appointment!”.
The absence of such basic information on the official platform raises serious questions about the PSU’s internal communication and technical management systems. For a consultancy company mandated to deliver critical projects in water resources, power, and infrastructure, such lapses hardly inspire confidence.
