CIL Chairman & BCCL CMD Meets Jharkhand Chief Secretary; Safety Concerns, Kenduadih Gas Incident Reviewed

Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar assured full support from the state administration

Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited, Manoj Kumar Agarwal, held a high-level meeting with Avinash Kumar to deliberate on critical operational and safety issues, with particular focus on the recent Kenduadih gas tragedy.

The meeting was also attended by B. Sairam, Chairman of Coal India Limited, underscoring the importance of the discussions at both state and corporate levels.

A major part of the deliberations centered around the Kenduadih gas incident, which has raised serious safety concerns in coal mining operations. The participants emphasized the urgent need to:
