CCL Headquarters Holds Key Meeting on Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026

CCL CMD emphasized that vigilance is not the responsibility of any single department, but a collective responsibility of every officer and employee

An important meeting on the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026 was held at the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) Headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi, on Thursday. The campaign is being conducted from August 17 to November 16, 2026.

The meeting was attended by CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations) C.S. Tiwari, and Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar, along with senior officials, general managers, department heads and employees.

The programme began with the Integrity Pledge, during which officers and employees pledged to uphold honesty, truthfulness and integrity, work in the public interest, and comply with laws and regulations. Participants also resolved to conduct the campaign with enthusiasm and ensure that its message reaches a wider audience.

Addressing the gathering, CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh stressed the importance of effective public communication in an organization. He said that actions and messages should remain simple, clear and impactful so that they can reach and benefit a wider audience.

Recalling last year’s Vigilance Awareness Campaign, Singh highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by CCL, particularly the donation of more than 900 units of blood, describing it as a commendable demonstration of the company’s commitment to society.

The CCL CMD emphasized that vigilance is not the responsibility of any single department, but a collective responsibility of every officer and employee. He stressed that embedding transparency, accountability and integrity into the organizational work culture would help further strengthen CCL.

On the occasion, Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar outlined the objectives and planned activities of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026. He said that this year’s campaign will focus on five major areas:

  1. Disposal of Pending Complaints
  2. Disposal of Pending Cases
  3. Capacity Building Programmes
  4. Digital Initiatives
  5. Contract Management

During the meeting, officials emphasized the need to formulate effective action plans in each of these areas, enhance transparency and streamline organizational procedures.

Officers and employees were urged to make vigilance, integrity and ethical conduct an integral part of their everyday working practices.

A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on EMB for the Civil Department was also launched during the programme.

The participating officers and employees expressed their commitment to further strengthening transparency, accountability and an honest work culture across Central Coalfields Limited as part of the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026.
