Today on 17-06-2024 a wide scale meeting was held with leaders of Singareni Recognised /Representative unions at Singareni Bhavan Hyderabad on various issues of retired employees. The Singareni trade union leaders have discussed with their national central union leaders and asked them to work in consultation with the central government to increase the pension accordingly and to provide free and unlimited medical facilities to Singareni retired employees who have settled in Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam and other areas. AITUC President Vasireddy Seetharamaiah said that the management of Singareni has agreed to provide medical facilities in Hyderabad soon. Moreover, CPRMS cards for chronic diseases such as cancer, paralysis, heart diseases, kidney are to be made available to provide treatment regardless of the medical expenses incurred. INTUC Secretary General Bajpai Janak Prasad has assured that he will do his best to solve the problems of the retired employees, both leaders who were also former Singareni employees, for the awarding of pension, medical facilities and other financial assistance.
The above mentioned Trade Union leaders have informed that CM Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Duddila Sridhar Babu, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, who have promised to soon arrange a meeting with all the retired associations of Singareni and work hard to solve the problems. The petitions signed by the leaders of the representative unions Vasireddy Seetharamaiah and B Janak Prasad addressed to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Singareni Chairman Managing Director Balaram Naik on various problems of the retired employees were handed over by President Dandamraj Ramchander Rao in the Chairman’s office.
Singareni Retired Employees Association Welfare Association President Dandamraj Ramchander Rao and other working group members Venumadhav, Beeraiah Narsingrao, Kanakaiah, Purna Prakash were present during the meeting. Coal Pensioners Association General Secretary M Baburao Leaders Erabati Ranga Rao, Lakshmareddy, Madhavareddy, Sairam Goud and Singareni Retired Officers Welfare Association Leaders KRC Reddy, Former Singareni Directors Dattatreyulu, Satyanarayana Reddy and others participated.
