The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended N. Franklin Jayakumar, Director (Technical) at South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), for appointment as the next Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL).
Jayakumar was selected following interviews conducted by PESB, where a total of 12 senior executives from leading public sector undertakings and government organisations were shortlisted for the coveted leadership position.
N. Franklin Jayakumar currently serves as Director (Technical) at SECL and brings extensive experience in mine operations, production, project execution and strategic planning in the coal sector.
