RINL Executives Hit The Streets To Raise Their Demands

Hundreds of executives form human chain from Candle Junction to Admin Building this morning

Vizag Steel Executives, RINL, first time in recent past, gathered in large number to express their unhappiness, on the clarion call given by Steel Executives Association (SEA) and formed human chain as part of their protest against their long pending issues of Promotions, Rationalised electricity charges to township residents, release of PRP for FY 2021-22 and 18 months PLI, Release of Pension fund arrears, implementation of 3Rd PRC and re-merger with SAIL .

Hundreds of executives formed a human chain from Candle Junction to Admin building from 8.30 to 9 am, this morning.

SEA President Katam Chandra Rao and General Secretary KVD Prasad demanded not to show disparity in paying the salaries and this is no less than rubbing salt to injury as only 50 percent salaries were paid to and that too on 8th of this month.

They also urged the government to take immediate actions to start third blast furnace and necessary help to fulfill the working capital needs and asserted that re-merger of SAIL with RINL, is only the permanent solution by which both SAIL and RINL will be benefited. National officers forums of SEFI and NCOA also passed resolutions on this merger in 2021 itself.

SEA office bearers Narasimha, Chandra V. Rao and all EC Committee members participated in this protest. Leaders from recognised union namely CITU and INTUC, also participated in the protest to express their solidarity towards the demands of RINL Executives.
