SAIL Signs MoU with MDI Gurgaon for Executive Education Programme
Partnership aims to build future-ready leadership through customized executive education, global learning exposure, and innovation-driven training initiatives
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Management Development Institute Gurgaon (MDI Gurgaon) to collaborate on Executive Education Programmes aimed at developing future-ready leaders within the organization.
The MoU was formalized at SAIL’s Corporate Office in New Delhi on May 20, 2026. The agreement brings together SAIL’s Management Training Institute (MTI) and MDI Gurgaon to design and deliver advanced learning interventions tailored for SAIL executives.
Under this partnership, the programmes will blend academic excellence with real-world application through customized leadership development modules, strategy and innovation-driven learning, and action learning projects focused on measurable business impact. The collaboration will also include overseas learning opportunities, joint research initiatives, consulting assignments, and development of case studies specific to SAIL’s operational ecosystem.
The MoU was signed by Sanjay Dhar, Executive Director (HR-L&D), MTI, SAIL, and Sumita Rai, Dean–Industry Connect, MDI Gurgaon, in the presence of K. K. Singh, Director (Personnel), along with senior officials from both organizations.
This strategic collaboration is expected to enhance SAIL’s organizational capability while aligning leadership development practices with global standards and evolving industry requirements.
