SEA And SEFI Office Bearers Meet Secretary DIPAM
Submitted detailed presentation to Secretary DIPAM about benefits of merging RINL with Steel Authority of India Limited
President of Steel Officers’ Association Katam Chandra Rao, General Secretary K.V.D. Prasad, Chairman Steel Executive Federation of India (SEFI) Shri N.K. Banchore, today submitted a detailed presentation to Secretary, DIPAM, about the benefits of merging Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) with Steel Authority of India Limited SAIL).
Along with this, a copy of the RINL merger with SAIL resolution jointly signed by the Steel Officers Association, Trade Unions, SC ST and OBC Associations was also handed over.
They also met Shri V.K. Tomar, Secretary General of the National Confederation of Officers Association (NCOA) and conveyed thanks on behalf of the 2800 RINL/VSP employees, who pursued the 11.3 EPS95 issue with EPF officials in Delhi several times and solved the problems. Similarly, copies of resolution and presentation were submitted to provide cooperation on RINL SAIL merger. Mr. Tomar said that he will discuss this matter with the official of Finance Ministry and the officials of the Prime Minister’s Office and will work hard to keep RINL or Visakha Steel in the public sector like NMDC Nagarnar plant.
