Uttarakhand CM Honors 12 Rat Miners Who Were Involved In Silkyara Rescue Operation

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami honored 12 rat miners who were involved in the Silkyara Rescue Operation. The honor was given at the Chief Minister’s residence, where the rat miners were presented shawls and cash reward of Rs. 50,000 each.
Chief Minister Dhami commended the rat miners for their dedication and hard work in digging, cleaning, and cutting pipes in challenging conditions, emphasizing their crucial role in the success of the rescue operation.
The rat miners played a significant role in making the Silkyara Rescue Operation successful by working tirelessly in difficult conditions.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of the state to all individuals and agencies that contributed to the Silkyara Rescue Campaign. Rat miners who were honored, also expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Dhami and considered it a matter of pride to have contributed to saving the lives of 41 people trapped in the tunnel.
Additional Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi and District Magistrate Uttarkashi Mr. Abhishek Ruhela were also present at the occasion.
