BCCL Organises Training Programme for Human Resource Officers
A total of 40 participants, including junior cadre HR officers and Management Trainees from headquarters, were present

On the occasion of International Human Resource Day, a workshop-cum-training programme was organised at Kalyan Bhawan (HRD) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) for newly recruited Management Trainees and junior cadre Human Resource officers.
The programme aimed to familiarise participants with key aspects of human resource management, organisational work culture, leadership development, and professional competencies.
Senior officials present on the occasion included Director (Human Resources) Murli Krishna Ramaiah, Director (Technical/Operations) Sanjay Kumar Singh, Director (Finance) Rajesh Kumar, General Manager (HRD) Sudhakar Prasad, along with General Managers, Heads of Departments, and Regional HR Managers from the Coal Bhawan headquarters and various departments.
A total of 40 participants, including junior cadre HR officers and Management Trainees from headquarters and other units, attended the programme.
The sessions were led by Director (HR) Murli Krishna Ramaiah, who conducted multiple technical discussions on human resource management, self-management, team management, leadership skills, organisational development, and high-performance work culture.
In his address, Ramaiah emphasised that the success of any organisation depends on the capability, commitment, and work culture of its human resources. He highlighted the importance of self-discipline, positive thinking, continuous learning, effective communication, sensitivity, and leadership development. He further noted that effective leadership begins with self-development and self-management.
Director (Technical/Operations) Sanjay Kumar Singh stated that in today’s competitive industrial environment, the role of HR professionals has expanded beyond administrative functions to include organisational development, talent management, and change management.
Director (Finance) Rajesh Kumar underscored that the financial and administrative strength of an organisation is rooted in the efficiency, transparency, and commitment of its human resources. He encouraged HR officers to act as a strong bridge between the organisation and its employees.
The programme commenced with a formal welcome, ceremonial lamp lighting, and the Coal India song. The welcome address was delivered by GM (HRD) Sudhakar Prasad.
The concluding session featured an interactive discussion where participants engaged with the Director (HR), who addressed their queries.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Senior Manager (HR) Safura Rubab, while the programme was anchored by Management Trainee (HR) Anjali Mehta.
The successful conduct of the programme was supported by Chief Manager (Mining) Radheshyam Dubey, Manager (HR) Sumit Kumar, Manager (Mining) Deepak Kumar, and other HRD personnel.
