Dev Deepawali To Be Celebrated in Kashi On November 15, Ghats To Be Illuminated With 12 Lakh Diyas

Firework show will be held on bhajans like "Har-Har Shambhu", "Shiv Tandava" etc. based on the glory of Lord Shiva

Both the banks of Kashi’s north-flowing Jahnavi will be illuminated with amazing lights on Dev Deepawali. The crescent-shaped ghat will be seen wearing a garland of lamps, while on the sand across the Ganges, tourists will be able to enjoy the confluence of cracker show, laser show and music, which will illuminate the sky with vibrant colors and patterns. There will be green fireworks on the sand to the hymns and tunes of Shiva. The world famous Dev Deepawali of Kashi will be celebrated on November 15. There will be a green aerial fire crackers show on the sand in front of the Ganga gate of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham. To make Dev Deepawali divine and grand, the Yogi government will also organize laser show, crackers show along with illuminating the ghats with 12 lakh lamps.

There will also be a confluence of state-of-the-art technology with traditional artistry

Deputy Director of Tourism Department Rajendra Kumar Rawat said that this Dev Deepawali will be special by combining traditional artistry with state-of-the-art technology on the sand across the Ganges. The supernatural view of green cracker show and laser show will be seen for the first time in Kashi on Shiva bhajans and music for about 10 minutes with the state-of-the-art technology “Fire One Firing” system developed in America. Tourists coming to Kashi will be able to enjoy Ganga Aarti on the ghats as well as green fireworks on the sand across the Ganga.

Green fireworks will be environment friendly

Manoj Gautam, CEO of Axis Communication, the company which organises the Green Aerial Fire Crackers show, said that there will be a Green Aerial Fire Crackers show on a stretch of about 1.5 kilometres on the sand. The fireworks show will be on 9 to 10 tracks of bhajans like “Har-Har Shambhu”, “Shiv Tandava” etc. based on the glory of Lord Shiva. During the fireworks, a rainbow of colours will be spread in the sky. Many types of attractive pictures will also be seen in the sky. The company’s India head Sanjay Pratap Singh said that in the cracker show, the crackers go up to a height of about 60 to 70 metres, which are visible from a long distance. The green fireworks used in the performance of cracker show and laser show are environment friendly. The sound of the crackers is less than 70 decibels.

The confluence of cracker show, laser show and music will mesmerize you and make you witness a supernatural, unimaginable and amazing view. The laser show will light up the sky with vibrant colors and patterns on the full moon night, which will make the city’s skyline colorful.
