NTPC RRB Exams – Change The Name, NTPC Urges Railways

Violent protests had broken out as aspirants alleged of mass bungling in results

What’s in a name ? said Shakespeare but perhaps the NTPC Limited does not think on the lines. The top management of NTPC Limited have shot a letter to the Railways, asking it to change the name of Railway Recruitment Board Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC RRB) Exams.

It was during December 28, 2020 to July 31, 2021, when the NTPC RRB examinations were conducted in seven phases. The results of CBT-1 have been declared after which aspirants alleged there has been mass bungling in the declared results. There have been violent protests from applicants in this regard and in some cases, property of the railways has also been vandalized.

The NTPC has written to the Railways requesting it to change the name of the exam from NTPC RRB as certain sections of the media are continously referring towards NTPC in their coverage and this is bringing a bad name and ill-repute towards the major power PSU. The letter written by NTPC Limited to Railways is given below for the benefit of the viewers of www.indianpsu.com
